Please meet gorgeous Wilma.

Wilma was rescued from a kill shelter in Europe, with just a few hours left to spare her, her chance of life.  Both Wilma and her sister Betty were saved and put into HOTS care.  They joined the HOTS family in the UK early February 2018.

Wilma is very affectionate, having the "Rottie lean" and streak of stubbornness.  She will make someone a great companion.  A friendly fun-loving 5-year-old lady who loves to have a fuss from all she meets.  A cuddly girl who adores human company, being mild-mannered and super eager to please.  Since being in our care, her true personality has really started to flourish - a true sweetheart but can be a little nervous of new things.  We are confident with time, love, patience and care of an experienced owner, her nervouseness will soon disappear and she will be a loyal and wonderful friend. She is food motivated and if you have treats in your pocket and love in your heart, Wilma will stick to you like glue!  She's quiet and obedient but will benefit from some further training. Always eager to please and willing to learn, future training should be a quick process! Wilma likes to investigate all new things when out on a walk and she is slowly becoming accustomed to the UK way of life.  She can get overexcited at times and needs a home that can keep her calm, routine with plenty of mental and physical stimulation will definitely help.

Wilma's life before HOTS we can only but imagine, but we think it is fair to say that she was neglected and had never experienced simple things in life such as grass, flowers, cars and most definitely love.  Her excitement when out for a walk, sniffing the air and discovering all things new combined with her deep desire for companionship certainly demonstrates this.

In an ideal world, Wilma would love to continue to live the rest of her life with her sister Betty, they are such great companions and have a fantastic relationship, however, it would also be possible for them to be separated but it would be wonderful if they could still meet up on walks as they simply adore playing with each other! Wilma can come across serious at times, but underneath and once you know her she loves to play and is incredibly loyal - she would make the right person a perfect companion.  All Wilma is waiting for right now is the chance to meet her new family and have the all-important love that has always been missing in her life - she will stay right by your side and be an invaluable member to your family.
