How does Fostering work?
All dogs that come to us are assessed and every effort is made to then meet their individual needs.
For some dogs, being in foster care is a very short term thing, whilst others may be in foster care for longer,
it totally depends on the individual dog and their needs.
Fostering consists of offering a dog a warm, caring and loving home, helping where necessary for their
true and full character to be restored and given the opportunity to flourish.
We strive to place every dog in a foster home, but this cannot be achieved without help.
The foster carer will look after the dog until a forever home is found.
Foster carers play a huge role in a rescue dog’s life and by working together with us, you can help save more of them from unnecessary mistreatment or even destruction.
All families will receive full support and advice regarding the dog in their care together with all veterinary costs being covered by us.
Like us, all dogs come in all shapes and sizes, with different personalities so whatever your experience level, we will endeavor to place the most appropriate dog in your care.

Fostering is extremely rewarding and fulfilling. Whether the dog is young or old, healthy or ill, fostering plays a large part in the rehabilitation of every dog. Some dogs come to us in poor states, either physical, mental or both. They need extra care helping them to continue their life journey onto a safe and happy future. Fosters play an essential role in helping us to achieve this.
