Shadow

We are truly delighted to introduce you to beautiful Shadow, one of the most gentle, kind dogs we have ever met.

Shadow was found in Europe, together with her gorgeous sister Brooke, in a plastic bag following a failed attempt to drown them.  Thankfully, they were found and rescued before it was too late and with loving care, they were returned to full health and joined the HOTS family in the UK during March 2018.

What can we tell you about stunning Shadow?  Well, in our opinion, she and likewise her sister are simply the perfect dog that anyone could ever wish to own.  As she is a Mastin Cross, she is a large sized dog, however, you really do not know she is there!  She is quiet, sweet-natured, playful, extremely loving and one of the gentlest dogs we, at HOTS, have ever had the pleasure to meet.  We simply cannot fault her!  She walks beautifully on lead and simply takes everything in life in her stride.  She adores the feel of grass under her paws loving to spend unlimited time laying in the garden, regardless of the weather!  She greets everyone she meets with her eyes squeezed up in sheer delight and a big wagging tail.  Considering her size, it is hard to believe that you simply do not know she is there, but it is true!  To be honest, to meet Shadow is to love her and you simply need to meet her for yourself to fully appreciate just how stunning this lovable girl is!

It would be wonderful to home Shadow and Brooke together as these two girls have gone through some unbelievably hard times together and survived!  It is a magical moment to see them play together and it is obvious they look out for each other and love being together, they are so close...It would be considered to find them separate homes, but before any decision is made, please come and meet the girls - it will be a date you will always remember!

Shadow will be an invaluable member of any family as she gets on with all other dogs that she has been introduced to and has a special place in her heart for children too!

She loves to play with a ball and finds it most amusing when she "bunny hops" and the ball rolls away, it is really quite humorous to watch as she gently tries to retrieve the ball as it again spins away...on and on this game goes...!

Shadow has been a hard dog to foster as she goes deep into your heart when you meet her...it will be mixed emotions when she goes to her new home and starts the next chapter of her life...so please, if you are looking for a new fur-baby to join your family, rescue her foster home from becoming a "failed fosterer", the warning signs are there!  Shadow is quite simply, truly gorgeous, eager to please and incredibly gentle and she will be the best friend you could ever ask for! Yep - HOTS truly love both Shadow and her sister Brooke - they are stunning dogs!
