 Elli's Quick Facts

All About Elli

In May 2017 a family offered Ellie a new home due to a friend, the original owner, experiencing ill health which resulted in them not being able to care for her.  Unfortunately, due to long working hours the new family soon realised that they could not offer Ellie the life she truly deserved as she spent many long hours on her own and therefore contacted Hots.

We were delighted to be offered the opportunity to help this beautiful girl find her new forever loving home.

Ellie is the one of the sweetest examples of this magnificent breed.  After being in Hots care for a week, it became very evident that she simply loves people and children but has a special affection for men!  She craves human companionship and sadly does suffer some separation issues, however, even over just a week this has drastically improved.  She adores her blanket to suck and is slowly starting to play with a variety of toys.  Not being particularly well trained on the lead Ellie was introduced to dehydrated chicken pieces and the magic happened!  She will do anything for this treat!  Things are improving on the lead, but her new home would need to continue the training that Hots have commenced, however we are confident that she will be the most amazing dog once she has gained her confidence and trust with any new owner.

Ellie loves to shake hands for treats and will offer either her left or right paw depending on what you request.  She has not been well socialised and can lack in manners when she first meets another dog, but with time and patience this is improving, together with taking her to training classes which we strongly recommend.

If you have the time, patience and love to offer Ellie she will be an incredible family member for the lucky person who adopts her, we promise that she will find that special place in your heart, she is an absolute gem with so much love to give.
