Amber

Sweetheart Amber joined the HOTS family in November 2017, being the very final puppy of a full litter rescued by HOTS from Europe during 2017 - all members are now safe and sound in the loving care of either HOTS or their new families.

Amber was very timid to the extent that she feared walking through a doorway and remained aloof for some considerable time.  But with time, patience, love and care her truly beautiful, kind and almost delicious personality started to shine through.  Frightened by cars and even the song of garden birds and grass, we knew that it was going to be a long, emotional journey with this true little gem.

As time went on, we started to see the rewards of our efforts, oh my, what an amazing little lady Amber is - she definitely gives you all of her heart and then some!  Her cuddles are massive beyond belief, but her full trust was a long journey to completely gain...but every step of the way has paid off!

She strives to please you and it is a magical thing to see her tail wag with pleasure and her dainty face literally light up when she sees you...quite a contrast from the girl that first came in - we honestly started to think her tail would never wag with pleasure!  The developments and personality of Amber warm you to the absolute bottom of your heart.  Amber certainly is a gem and worth every single heartbreaking second that now seems so distant in the past.

She's a clever little thing however and is quick to learn.  She is super friendly with other dogs and just strives to make new friends - an absolute delight to have in your home who remains utterly reliable - Amber loves to be loved!
